Mumbai, Maharashtra – Aanvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old social media influencer and chartered accountant from Mumbai, tragically passed away after falling into a 300-foot deep ravine while recording a video.

According to Indian media, Aanvi Kamdar was known for sharing travel videos and experiences on her Instagram handle. She gained fame through her ‘travel reels and vlogs.’

On July 16, Anvi began a monsoon travel series with seven of her friends. During this journey, she reached the famous Kumbhe Waterfalls in Maharashtra, where the tragic incident occurred.

Media reports state that Anvi was recording a video for her Instagram handle at Kumbhe Waterfalls when she slipped and fell into a ravine approximately 300 to 350 feet deep.

Local authorities promptly dispatched a rescue team to the scene, initiating an operation to retrieve her from the ravine. The operation, hampered by heavy rain and slippery conditions, lasted six hours.

After six hours of relentless effort, the rescue team managed to bring Aanvi Kamdar out of the ravine alive. However, she had sustained severe injuries from the fall.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, Anvi succumbed to her injuries and passed away.

Her sudden death has left her family in deep shock and has elicited an outpouring of grief from her millions of followers.
