ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir called on Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.
General Munir arrived at the Prime Minister House on Wednesday where he congratulated Shehbaz on assuming the office of PM.
The two also discussed matters related to security and the armed forces.
Saudi delegation arrives on Karachi airport
The meeting comes a day after the Corps Commanders Conference which reiterated that the armed forces provided a security environment for the February 8 election as per the given mandate, and had nothing to do with the electoral process.
