Azma Bukhari approaches Lahore High Court over alleged doctored image, seeking action against those responsible.

Punjab’s Information Minister, Azma Bukhari, has approached the Lahore High Court seeking action over an alleged doctored image that has gone viral on social media. The image shows a woman sitting on a sofa with a man, with Bukhari’s face allegedly edited onto the woman’s body.

Bukhari shared what she claimed was the original image on Twitter, showing the woman’s face clearly. The provincial minister has named the FIA, Ministry of Interior, and others as respondents in her petition.

In her petition, Bukhari claims that a woman named Falak Javed uploaded the fake obscene videos on Twitter. She also mentioned that Javed has been involved in various anti-state activities before.

The petition requests the court to place Falak Javed’s name on the ECL and order the FIA to conduct an immediate investigation into the alleged video and report their findings.

After filing the petition, Azma Bukhari criticized the judiciary and accused them of bias, questioning whether justice is only for PTI. She stated that her image was deliberately spread on social media by members of a particular party. Addressing the media, she said that as a female minister and a woman, she seeks justice from the court.
