PIA’s Deputy Station Manager in Birmingham, Iqbal Javed Bajwa, has been dismissed from his job.

According to a PIA spokesperson, Bajwa was asked to resign after it was confirmed that his FA certificate from the Lahore Board was fake. He has now resigned from his position in the UK.

The spokesperson also mentioned that Bajwa was given a show-cause notice on July 30 by the PIA Finance Manager in Birmingham.

Geo News reported that Iqbal Javed Bajwa started working at PIA’s Rawalpindi office in 1977 and obtained British citizenship in the late 1980s. After becoming a British citizen, he changed his employment status at PIA to reflect his new nationality.
