Imran Khan demands open trial for General (Retd) Faiz Hameed.

PTI founder Imran Khan has called for an open trial of General (Retd) Faiz Hameed. In an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said that the trial of General (Retd) Faiz Hameed should be held in an open court because the issue between General Faiz and himself is not an internal matter of the military. He emphasized that the media should be given access to cover the open trial.

Imran Khan further stated that General (Retd) Faiz Hameed became irrelevant after his retirement, questioning what benefit he would have in maintaining contact with him, as General Faiz was no longer a hero after retirement.

The PTI founder also mentioned that an open trial of Faiz Hameed would benefit the country and contribute to Pakistan’s development.
A few days ago, an ISPR statement revealed that former DG ISI General Faiz Hameed had been taken into custody and court-martial proceedings had begun against him for violating military laws.

In response, Imran Khan stated that he has no fear regarding the arrest of Faiz Hameed.
