Mahira Khan

Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal once again referred to Mahira Khan as an "old woman."

Recently, Firdous Jamal appeared as a guest on a private TV channel’s show. The host asked him about his past comment where he had said that Mahira Khan looks old and should not be cast as a heroine in dramas or films but rather in motherly roles. The host then mentioned that despite his comment, Mahira Khan delivered a stellar performance in the blockbuster film “The Legend of Maula Jatt,” and asked for his thoughts on this.

In response Firdous Jamal reiterated his stance, saying I still stand by my statement. she is an old woman according to her actual age.

He added that if people find Mahira Khan beautiful, it’s not his fault. everyone sees beauty through their own perspective. In his view, she is not beautiful. He explained that he compares acting by observing actresses like Elizabeth Taylor, and everyone has their own perspective on acting and beauty. He sees things based on his thoughts and beliefs.

Firdous Jamal further stated that he stood by his previous comment about beauty, still stands by it today, and will always stand by it.

It is worth noting that in 2019, Firdous Jamal had said in a statement that if anyone was offended by his words, he apologized, but he did not think Mahira Khan should continue playing heroine roles. He mentioned that while Mahira could be a model. she is neither a good actress nor a heroine. He also commented on Mahira Khan’s age, stating that she had grown older and that heroines are not typically of that age but rather play motherly roles.
