In Mianwali, the police successfully stopped a terrorist attack on the Qabul Khan Police Checkpost at the Isa Khel police station, though two officers were injured.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, a group of 12 to 14 terrorists attacked the Qabul Khel checkpost at night, using rocket launchers and hand grenades. The police officers on duty were alert and fired back, causing the terrorists to retreat.
