There is a risk of landslides in the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, and Balochistan.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy monsoon rains across the country from today until 6th of August. Rain is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.

The rain has already started in various cities across the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum, Shakargarh, and Bhimber in Azad Kashmir.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Balochistan on Friday and in Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday night.

Yesterday, traffic flow was disrupted due to flash floods in Lasbela, Washuk, Qila Saifullah, and Kalat. The Kaghan Highway remains closed due to the collapse of a bridge at the Mahandri area in Mansehra, and a complete ban has been imposed on tourists entering the Kaghan Valley.
