Quetta: 23 travellers were taken off vehicles and killed in Musa Khel.
Quetta: In Musa Khel, armed men set up a checkpoint on the highway, pulled passengers out of various vehicles, and shot dead 23 of them.
SP Musa Khel, Ayub Achakzai, said that the attack happened near Rarra Sham on the inter-provincial highway.
The attackers targeted passengers from Punjab, forcing them out of trucks and buses before shooting them.
Before escaping, the attackers also set more than 10 vehicles on fire, according to SP Musa Khel.
A police spokesperson said that a large number of police and Levies officials reached the scene, and the bodies were taken to the hospital. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
